Profile Information

My education:
math undergraduate degree
My work and my background:
I'm a computer programmer currently working in the film/visual effects industry, though most of my background is in industrial automation, robotics, computer graphics and machine vision.

I'm a musician, a husband and father, aspiring novelist and icorrigible dreamer.
What is my contribution to a Global Villages network
I'm interested in replicable models of sustainable, equitable communities, and in designing the technology, the social protocols, the contractual frameworks, and the inspiration narratives to help make them successful.

The ultimate enterprise is optimizing the world for human happiness, and this seems to be the way to do it.

I have a particular interest in building, and aesthetics. I'm interested in creating architectural design tools, and building systems for creating beautiful places to live and work. This in an area in which I have almost no competence and endless motivation.

Hi, great to have a New Zealander here!

Are you in touch with Claude Lewenz from Village Towns / www.villageforum.com?

Hi kefex,

With your interest in Virtual Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
