Richard O'Farrell replied to Richard O'Farrell's discussion Immigration & Community Development Hubs as an innovative solution for all
"Dear Franz, In a general sense my considered view comes from here - we monetise our culture already when we pay somebody as we go on culture travels; when we sell our music; or even when we sell (say) our Nursing or care services to other countries…"

Franz Nahrada replied to Richard O'Farrell's discussion Immigration & Community Development Hubs as an innovative solution for all
"Thanks Richard, allthough I do not share your tendency for monetizing (I think cooperative use of information-communication media is much more powerful) one of the most interesting questions is indeed how we can return to greater cultural cohesion…"

Immigration & Community Development Hubs as an innovative solution for all

In difficult times like these, when jobs have become an ever moreprecious commodity, people and whole countries turn toself-protectionism. Many people without sufficient income, especially disenfranchised Communities at so-called Bottom of the Pyramid, have begun however to realisethere are new ways, new ideas and technologies -  with which to tap into the latent value thatresides within their own culture right around them, one that opens thedoor to many new and inspiring opportunities for them…See More

Profile Information

My education:
CIMA Accountant
My work and my background:
I am Founder, President and Social Entrepreneur at VoxWorld.Coop. It operates a virtual New Business Model for Communities called VoxLabs, which I created over period of last 20 years, having introduced aspects into 40 countries under private label, together with registered patents/ IPR but now being devoted to promoting a global Community Co-op Outlets & Hub which I designed for this purpose. My background is that of a CIMA Management Accountant, having worked in international Pharmaceuticals, Marketing, Production, Franchises, Retail and Consulting fields over preceding in 20 years.
What is my contribution to a Global Villages network
Within Europe we are fortunate to, perhaps more visibly, possess an especially rich, exciting and priceless Culture within every Community, one which we should and now can choose to Showcase in the surrounds of our fellow Telecentres members. Communities can showcase 365 aspects of their Culture, tell their story to the world through TeleTrade rather than depend on Aid now; be that through Hospitality Centres like Coffee Shops, Internet Cafes,
Hotels etc or elsewhere where Telecentres operate. These culture showcases would offer Special Value in latent demand products and services from overseas community to those using the Telecentres at home in a reciprocal arrangement with their fellow members cross-border through a Community Cultural Showcase Exchange. The world needs healing more than ever now, and today presents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for every Community to empower and advance.

This is most likely to be best achieved when Communities of every ilk come together virtually to obtain a better understanding of each other, while at the same helping to meet each other's needs. I believe that the potential for impact on lives of everyone involved is enormous, especially with arrival of technology advances in form of virtual
offices, virtual workshops and virtual new eBusiness or Virtual Community models such as those
operated by VoxWorld.Coop, where you can do it yourself and build your own interactive Community Brand.

Hi Richard,

With your interest in Virtual Education Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
