I suggest if this is OK with you to write a blog post about the various roles that are crucial in the dissemination and integration of any global information in a village.
Hi Pamela, it really seems to me that you were one of the first subscribers here....and we say "double is tighter"....so what I would like to see is an expnation of the "arch" or the "bridge" you drew for me in London....its really very good stuff.
Also, on September 29th and 30th there is a digital solidarity conference in Hungary,
Community Access for Digital Solidarity
Dear Colleague
We are pleased to invite you to our “Digital Solidarity Marketplace” conference, presenting and evaluating Hungarian digital solidarity services (more than 50 service descriptions and video presentations), with special attention to the role of community access places and personal help for disadvantaged target groups. Service developers, managers will personally inform participants, English translation will be provided for foreign guests.
The conference is organised by the European Union of Telecentre Associations (EUTA), and supported by the Hungarian Government. The program gives an opportunity for organising the actual EUTA/GTA General Assembly, where we have chance for final decision about the reshaping of our organisation, incl. the fusion with the Global Telecentre Alliance and for new members joining the reorganised international telecentre organisation.
You will find Matyas Gaspar here in the network, it would be good to contact him!
With your interest in Virtual Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
