My education:: College: (Incomplete) 3-years psych/pre-med. | Certification programs: EMT-Basic, Wildland Firefighter 2.

My work and my background:: Grew up extremely rurally (particularly for the US) and have spent most of my life in rural, agrarian, settings. Worked since childhood as a cowboy/ranch-hand, and agricultural day-laborer.
Also a blacksmith and have taught 3-dimensional art, blacksmithing, and lapidary techniques.
Former Emergency Medical Technician. Trained as a Wildland Firefighter. Have developed and teach course-work in emergency medical skills for the wilderness and tactical environments.

What is my contribution to a Global Villages network: I am hoping to learn more about the concepts driving successful villages, and how to implement them locally. If my knowledge and background could ever contribute to the discussion, I'll jump on in as appropriate.
